i emailed another fairground a little while back..i have been waitin for the response via email..it came by phone to my surprise. the man in charge of the fairgrounds gave us full permission to hunt the grounds anytime we want, on one condition. We dont tear up the grounds...of course we wouldnt my hubby replied. so hopefully soon i can talk him into taking me...the flip side is i heard it gets hunted alot..

Do what I do on well huunted places. Dig the deeper iffy tones! :)

got about 3.50 in clad mostly dimes. a zipper, and a button...didnt hunt much of it though . only had an hour and most the sprinklers were on. i still got alot of ground to cover out there so all hope is not lost.

Good going, dobbie, on having permission to hunt another fairground.....it may take time by going really slow to hear the deep sounds and hopefully find something really great, but you can go back anytime, so why don't you grid it and do a little strip at a time after you detect the other parts to see what goodies you can find! Old silver and gold go deep, being lost years and years ago, so swing low and go slow when you can to find the best coins! :) Good Luck and God Bless!

Yes, detecting takes patience and lots of energy to swing and dig the goodies! I learned more patience also after I started :detecting: But I kept at it since the fall of 1980 and really did enjoy being out and talking to God about His love and beautiful creations! Takes patience in serving Him, too!

God Bless!
