Went for a spin on sunday (09-24) with Huntress from 330p-730p with the Excal and Aquasearch and could only muster $.49. I was late for the good low which had been earlier in the day. My t-hunting buddies willia in tex and Spanky had found 3 gold in that same surf area, but not me!
Went for a solo spin on monday to a different location. Began the spin at 930A, into an 1118A 0.7L and E winds 15-20. Tides were still a little below normal, with the passing of the front, so that helped out. Ran the Aquasearch today. Ended up with $2.44 in clad, Tinkerbell watch, with water in the face, but still ticking. Small ferrous hoop and a sweet ferrous necklace, wish it was gold! The ring says "2007" and is .925 and I was glad to see it after my sunday shutout! That pot you see is part of the nut! Left this surf area around 3P.

Then I went back to the area where Spanky and willia schooled me on sunday and the tide was crashing in again. Gave it a whirl for a couple of hours and ended up with case of the red @#$*! That pipe is solid steel and HEAVY. Had to pry it up out of the surf. Weapon? Who knows, but if you knocked somebody upside the head, it would hurt!Ended up with $.22. Need to get out there early for low tide and check it out. Maybe I'll be tardy for work and we'll see this week. Baled around 5P and I was whipped from fighting the currents and waves.

Here's a pic of Huntress and I before sunday's hunt with the ICE units. Took the pics for Chuck @ Treasure Hut. The HEAT was already in the truck. OBTW, Huntress did the tile and wood flooring you see in the pic also. That lady has got skills, lemme tell ya!
