5 of us hit the old site that was last years forum hunt. There is still some good stuff there! Here is a target that I dug. I took the chunk of dirt to show the others so we all could see what the surprise was inside! I knew it was silver!

It must have been my day for foriegn coins. Here is a 1944 2 Francs. The size is between a qtr. and a half.

And here is an old copper bracelet that is still partially gold plated.

I also got about 10 clad coins, a 1950D wheatie, and lot's of trash! A beautiful day with great friends, and a slightly sun burned neck! :)

gave 2 detectors a long drive from here to Manistee to Traverse City and back home again and never got the detectors out of the van til I got home. Beautiful day. Sherry and I just wanted to get out of the house together and what a beautiful day to do that.

Could have possibly detected some beach areas and playground but didn't have my sand scoop with me - still at my buddy Ken's house. Snow is finally gone.

Have to get ready for church tomorrow and house church tomorrow night so probably won't be detecting tomorrow - supposed to be even nicer tomorrow.

Congrats again on those cool finds Mike...you say you were at the park in South Haven? Was there a bank there??? Just keeps on giving and giving.

the 1880 is kinda thin and worn but You can still see most of the stuff on it. The big 2 Franc coin is aluminum.

No not the park in South Haven, that was two years ago. Last years hunt! SHHHH! :)
