Hit two old sites today. The first was an old house site that didn't turn up that many goodies besides clad. The second was an 1874 school house that has been pounded by many for years including me maybe 3 or 4 times. But this time I had my Explorer!!!
Keepers included an 1895 indian head that had been flattened but still can see the date and other details, a 1907 "V" nickel, two wheats 1944 and 1918, an 1800's suspender buckel with 3 dates inside, a musket ball, two old buttons, a watch ornament, a lead seal, a bone handle pocket knife, two pieces to a untensil found several feet apart, a tool tap, and an old fire extinguisher. I am trying to date it!
