got swingy thing but not using it correctly?

banditicey

New member
Got the swingy thing mainly because of recommendations from this forum and because I get to do some long field hunts on occasion

Tried it for this type of hunt and I'm fairly sure i was not using it correctly because it felt like
it was limiting my swing and causing resistance which caused more discomfort rather then less discomfort which was the reason i got swingy thing

Any suggestions would be helpful, but remember I'm only five feet( I'm lying, closer to 4'10-4'11 but i am married to a man who is 6'1,so dont feel sorry for me :) ) and there was the need to draw in the cord so it can be held above the ground which might have effected my swing ability.

Also, if there is anyone in WNY that uses swingy thing and can take the time to contact me and show me proper usage than i would be grateful and happier because that right shoulder is beginning to hurt.

HH and regards

Hi

I just adjusted mine till it feels right but takes a little getting used to
I usually lengthen the shaft a bit more and the harness connection point under the heart area is used as a pivot point to swing from.

But, why don't you email Doc himself ?
I think his email is : cop704@yahoo.com

His website shows how it should look when its on you
good luck ,
