The buf looks like it has a different color than it should be. It looks like some I cleaned with peroxide and lemon juice. It will clean the coins but gives them a odd color. I bought a rock/brass tumbler and got this recipe from the forum. I put two cups of small white rocks (those used for fish tanks) 1 tablespoon ammonia 1 teaspoon dish soap and let them tumble for about two hours. Mine is a vi berating type & to get the coins moving a litter better I will add a splash of water & a little sand. When the coins are done they look like new. There are always some that are real bad & I put them aside & add to the next batch.
