Got that Indians number! (?)

Couple of interesting questions (at least to me).----(1) What's the lowest #'s any of you guys are getting on IH's in actual "in field" hunting?-----(2) How would you class your ground when you got those #'s (low, medium or high mineralization)?----We're talking about the Etrac here.---------Del

D&P,

I got a beautiful '66 indian last fall that hit solid 32-12 in two directions in some pretty unmineralized ground (fill dirt) at 6 inches. I actually walked past it and then came back, since it was behind first base on a ballfield. Must have been left in the fill. Most of the indians I find here in wisconsin hit 34-35 conductive, with ferrous number all over the place if they are really deep. I have found several indians that hit 32/34-1 too that were deep and on edge I assume.

34-35 for me as well, but I have dug some at 37. Normally I will pass on the 37 if it is shallow and in a park setting. If it is in a private yard and shallow at 37, I'll definitely dig it.

10-39 to 5-37 highly mineralized
sun ray was 9-37 inch away

Thanks guys, you've been a big help-appreciate it.-----There's a "method to my madness" (so to speak).----The main thing I was trying to find out about was sort of an "worst case scenario" of ---CO #'s on IH's in various types of grounds.----The ground I usually hunt in is pretty mean (mineralized) areas.--------Del
