Went out for a little hunt this morning. Beautiful day. Cool and Sunny. Got a good quarter signal, dug down about 3" with my Lesche, flipped the plug and ran into a small SNAKE that must have wanted the quarter more than me. !!!!!! :yikes: :yikes: When I gathered myself, I went back to the hole (about 20 yds away) :rofl: and noticed that I had somehow cut his head off as I was digging my plug ! :starwars: What a strange ordeal !

Anyway , got a lot of clad, a few wheats (5) - some in good condition, a token, costume jewelry, and 1/2 a ring. Thanks for looking. CCH
 
Hey Cajun did the snake have a small detector as well ? (ha ha):heh:

OMG........I HATE when I come across a snake. HATE IT! Being that close, it probably would have done me in. You were brave to go back to where you saw it. HH, Nancy PS: Nice finds by the way. Love the old half ring. That's cool.
 
I see the coins but where's the head. Picture of head please . LoL That's a little scary.

Great story!!! I saw a green tree snake once that I flushed out about a year ago but your experience left me laughing!!

Enough with the excuses. I want to see some more silver!!

Congratulations on the finds! I was wanting a picture of the snake as well. Any idea what kind it was??

Sorry everyone, no other pics :cam: of the reptile. Once I returned from my sprint :help: , I noticed it was brown and headless after the encounter with the Lesche. That's all I know ! I did cover the hole back with my FOOT ! CCH
 
Don't blame you..:yikes: with the snakes you have down there I would be lucky to have the courage to cover the hole.
Good job on making sure you always fill you holes.:thumbup:
