I've sure gotten old! I've had two bypass surgeries, a hip replacement,
new knees, fought prostate cancer and diabetes. I'm half blind, can't hear anything quieter than a jet engine, take 40 different medications that make me dizzy, winded, and subject to blackouts. Have bouts with dementia. Have poor circulation; hardly feel my hands and feet anymore. Can't remember if I'm 65 or 92. Have lost all my friends. But, thank goodness, I still have my Florida driver's license.

I had an older relative that was driving in her 90's but she finally passed away so no fear of meeting her on the roads! I guess I will be there soon enough for my eyes are bothering me too much now but I need to drive and not be a burden or have to depend on someone else! I pray I die in my sleep, also, or go suddenly like my mother did with a heart-attack and I still miss her but she and dad never had to go into a nursing home or have the younger family members to take care of them for a long period of time like we did our dad for a short time....he passed away within 3 months of mom's passing in 1984! Both in their early 70's and I still miss them!
