Me and Kenny (KHouse) took the new F19 to a local trashy park. We brought along the Etrac so we could compare signals between the two. I like to use the Etrac to compare with because it has a super accurate id. We started with the 10" coil on the F19 and the stock coil on the Etrac. We compared many signals and the F19 was right there with the Etrac as far as accuracy. The F19 even hit better on some of the low conductors like you would expect. We did not find any real deep high conductors to compare with but I am sure that's where the Etrac would have had the advantage. We then put the 11" DD coil on the F19 and tested some more. Same results, had a super accurate target ID and was stable with no EMI problems even wide open. We then decided to do some in ground tests. We buried a nickel at 8 inches. The F19 hit this with a proper ID. We then buried it an 10 inches and it would still hit it with an ID in the low to mid 50's. I was even running a small 7 number notch in the nickel zone so that made it more awesome. We only buried one high conductor that was a copper penny at 7 inches and the F19 hit it with a proper ID only varying a few TID numbers. The unit does not seem to air test too well but the in ground performance is great. My soil is not highly mineralized so that may make a difference. The one we tested may be a bit weaker than the G2 I had but I can live with it.
I will try to put up some hunting videos and some air test videos soon.
