Started the day with an awesome sunrise!

I hunted a lake I have never hunted before. It is used a lot by swimmers, but I also heard it is used by water hunters. So I didn't get anything super, but had fun, and got a few things. I got 28 clad coins, 2 cars, a button, two cheap pendants, and a neat old cow (maybe Cracker Jack)

Here is the old lead cow, and a neat little pendant that has a little critter inside that spins inside a water filled case.

My CZ-20 is still packed away from when we moved down to OK. I just haven't had the time to get over to the river I want to hit. That's about an hour and a half away. All the lakes are up right now, from the near two straight months of rain, rain, rain; there's no use trying to hunt a swimming beach that's 12 - 15' underwater. Heck, even that river I want to hunt is running high right now.

I haven't even had the time to do a land dig in awhile. I've been pulling lots of OT at work lately. We're short-handed, and in the busy season.

Apparently myself, and lots of other folks around here, have been mistaken about the river level. One of the local TV newscasts just did a story on a weird occurance going on, that everyone is cancelling their scheduled float trips, because the river is flooding. Only problem is, it ain't flooding. Everyone apparently thinks that with all the rain, the river is up.

I think a road trip is in order. Gotta get my floating sifter into my car, get the 20 assembled and tested to see if it works.

I'm sure you wouldn't miss the tornados out there! :)

You did say MOOOOO!
