GP3000

How good is the GP3000. There is a local guy that has one in good shape for $1900.

esp. if you hunt for relics in bad ground. just as deep as the 5000, you might dig a lil more iron

Im looking for a good gold machine( preferably a Minelab) but not more than 2500 bucks.
is any of them fully automatic?...HELP:minelab:

hi a 3000 can be run in tracking which means it auto tracks the ground just pump the coil up and down in tracking and it ground balances. When detecting go low and slow. With a limited budget a 3000 for that price is a good buy, my self i would go for a 3500 it has few more features that make it a better detector 1 ground balance button 2 you can alter the frequency
