GQA2 X2

Two re-cased Eric Foster machines. Second one is a GQA2 / CS6PI hybrid that has a dual range SAT jumper on the board. I'm told that these black 10" coils are the best shielded ones Eric made. It's very smooth even at the lowest uSc speed and deeper than the stock model.

Nice job CJC.
What case is that you used for the Aquasearch?
My Aquasearch case is pretty beat up and its about time for a new one .
Thanks
Terry

That's a Pelican 1040. The cells sit above the board on a plate that also shields.
Be glad to put a few more pics up--that's why I posted--for anyone else trying to restore a GQA2.

as with the original that's the volume at the bottom.

Hello All,

I thought I would look in after a long absence and see what is going on. Nice to see some of the designs still holding their own.
I shall be posting shortly on what I am up to in 2016.

Eric.

Wow!

I jumped when I saw your name on the message you posted.

Look forward to your update on your activities.

Best Regards
