While I was out and about today and on my way home, I went past this house in town that had the whole yard tilled up!
So I slow down, and I drive slow around the house to check it out. I most of the time carry my detector with me so I stopped and knocked on the door.
The man was friendly and said go ahead!:clapping:
So I got geared up, and started :detecting: right away. I was finding many aluminum roof nails, and pieces of aluminum siding.
Frustrating but you got to dig them to find the other goodies!
I was hoping to find some old coins because the house was 140 years old!
It was tough hunting because the halo was disturbed, it was muddy, and kinda trashy! :nopity:
I managed to find an old gold plated cuff link, an old octagon good for 5 cents trade token, and a silver plated Royal Arch Masons token from my town!
As I was saying be prepared, and take advantage of those little windows of opportunity! :wiggle:

Not too shabby... Great finds, and yes it pays to be always prepared!!!:detecting:

Just cleaned out the pouch and forgot I had these mixed in with the clad from the short hunt today.
6 mems, 2 nickels, a marble, a thimble, and a rifle casing.
The thimble was flat, so I straighted it the best I could.
