I'm smiling DK.....and it feels good to confess our sins to one another and get them under the blood of Jesus......If you really did that during high school that is and are you saying you once were dopey?

May God Bless! Amen! Ma BettyI am still dopey Ma, but yep I was one of them dope smokin' hippies in high school. Used to plant my pot seeds in moms Zenia flower bed until they got as tall as moms flowers and then I would cut them down. Never did that hard drug stuff, but did my share of the green leafy stuff. God took all that away many years ago. The Navy took care of the hippie part. Fooled them though. I got my hair cut before I went to Boot Camp.

Well Doug, the past is in the past and now you're a Child of God being perfected in our Lord Jesus Christ with a bright mansion waiting for you in His golden and glorious heavenly land! Keep the faith and keep going forward toward MT Zion and maybe I'll be there spiritually waiting when your spirit ascends back to God Who gave it or maybe we'll meet Jesus in the air, if we are still mortally alive on Resurection Day of God's saints!

"Unemployment is still 15% in my county" OUCH that hurts... I read we are 10.5% here. I did see one area in CA is over 20%. Is finding employment in another part of the country a viable option?

I sure can relate to THAT! "Back in the day" I smoked pot and like you, I planted it in the flowers and anywhere else I could find to plant it. I popped all kinds of pills and snorted & sniffed all sorts of things. I was a BIG boozer too. I kept beer and booze in the trunk of my car at all times and rarely missed a day of drinking. I'd lay out all night and just about anything you can imagine. I even hung out at one of the local drug dealers trailer on many, MANY occasions. BUT, THANK GOD, HE DELIVERED ME FROM ALL OF THAT AND SET ME FREE!!!! All of those sins are covered by the Blood of Jesus!!!!! My parents were always blind to what was going on. I was raised in a Christian home where those things were NOT tolerated! I would do all of my 'deeds' and then come sneaking into the house... and usually right back out the window. I was definitely a rounder! Thank God those days are loooooong gone, and have been for many years.

I have done my share of partying and sinning also,my mother never gave up on me and always prayed hard for me....when she passed in 2003 I had been alcohol free for a long time.....I asked God to help me and I would do my part.....This Nov. will be 25 years....Thank God For Hearing Prayers....Thank You MaMa.......She is in Heaven Now......God Is Good.......Amen..........Dan

We have all sinned and fallen short of God's glory in some way or another! We are born that way because of a fallen and corrupted earth; therefore, we all need a Savior and Jesus is the One and Only God Who came in the name of Jesus and shed His precious blood for all sinners that we might be saved and have everlasting life with Him forever more! Only one way leads to heaven and that is Jesus, Who is the way, the truth and the life! Only the righteous of Jesus Whose blood gives us our righteousness by faith believing and confessing our sins to God by making us pure and whole in His purity to enter in to His Glory! For when condemned in fleshly sinfulness we would be slayed by our Savior's light! The redemption of our sinful souls is for all, but we must come to God's throne boldy and ask for forgiveness and turn away from sinning again willfully! If we slip and sin we have an Adovacate with our Father against satan's accusations of guiltiness and His name is Jesus....the name that is above all names!
I didn't do many of the things that others have done who are of a different generation, but I sinned....for sin is sin and the committing of sin condems the soul to partake in the Lake of Fire, unless repenting and following the straight and narrow road of God! My dad was very strict and would have punished me for doing any of those things....of which wasn't a temptation in my generation, so that's a blessing in itself! I sure didn't like the strictness or dad's anger but he saved me from going the wrong way until I had sense enough to not do it after graduating high school, working and then marrying! Praise God and Thank You, Jesus., for helping me in many, many ways to keep me out of trouble and harmsway! Amen! May God Bless! Ma Betty
