hello guys can anybody give me some feed-back on the garrett GRAND MASTER HUNTER C-111,LOOKING AT ONE but do not know anything about one?are they deep?are they accurate? is the 8"or 10" coil better?appreciate any feed---thank you. willam

Great machine and one of my favorites.:garrett::detecting: The older 8.5" Crossfire search coil(white plastic) is much lighter than the 7"x10" Ellipitical(Rhinotough/epoxy filled), but the Rhinotough is built to last. Of the two, 8.5" Crossfire is my favorite because it's lighter and easier to pinpoint with in my opinion. They also made a 9"x12" Elliptical Rhinotough search coil for the Grand Master Hunter series as well as a 10"x14" double"D" search coil and of course the 4.5" Super Sniper. I don't own or use either of the Rhinotough(7x10 or 9x12), but I do own and use the old 3"x7" double"D" Crossfire and 5"x10" DD Crossfire(neither of which have been made in years). My favorite overall search coil for the CXIII is the 5"x10" DD Crossfire. Oh yeah, I've also got that 12.5" Crossfire, which I seldom use, but is is deep and pinpoints great. They haven't made those 12.5" in years either. You can also put a big two-box(TreasureHound)search coil on it and go several feet down on larger metal targets while ignoring smaller metal/trash targets.
