Found this App for super-imposing pictures. What I did was; found an old map of a general area where an old settlement was and took a screen shot of it. Then I took a screen shot of the same general area on google maps, satellite view. Using the App, I super-imposed the google snapshot over the map, lined it up and adjusted the transparency. Works awesome!!
