[attachment 192286 d44.jpg] I shot this pic. as we were hunting an old Florida Ghost Town on Friday. I think it's a favorite of mine and the pic. pretty much tells it all. Being the 'ol Florida boy I am.......... I had to put down the detector for a bit and get my feet wet. Reminded me of my childhood. Nothing better than a sandy bottom creek to ease the stress in one's life. AWESOME !!
 
... except sone of the strange things that show up way back in the woods ..... You might need to enlarge the photo to see what shows up ....

That may just mean that I've never SEEN 'em though ! I've seen many in lakes, ponds, gold course water hazards, rivers and even road side ditches but never in a slow moving shallow water creek. I don't think there's enough wildlife to feed on for them to hang around in them. I have been snorkeling in clear water lakes and come across them sitting on the bottom but they leave you alone as long as you don't fool with them. I don't swim at night and make a sound like a turtle either !
