Saw where a guy with a metal detector found a large Anglo/Saxon treasure trove. Lots of old, old gold and things. Whites Metal Detecting sent me an updated newsletter with the story, but did not know how to send it to this forum. Saw the story in our paper, so maybe you all, (Ya'All, to Lisa :wiggle:) saw the story. I suppose he does not get to keep it as I understand some local official says it belongs to the Crown. I would change my name to "Crown".:sleepy:
 
Well, isn't that just like the heads of nations act..saying.it belongs to the Crown or gov't but the finder did the searching, swinging and the digging! He should at least get one-half or more of the value of the treasure trove he found! Most rulers seem to think they are God and own everything! He does....but they don't and won't unless they know Jesus Christ as their own Savior and have a personal relationship with Him! :thumbdown: :veryangry: Amen! God Bless! Betty
