great hunt with banditicey...shield nickel!

went to my favorite"hunted out park" yeh right! called banditicey and asked her to come out and play today... I found what I thought was a button, showed it to Eva and she was more excited than I was at the moment! it took a few mintutes to settle in...I had found a shield nickel!!!!!! it's pretty toasted and no date, but who cares. a little while later Eva scored a couple of keepers... and then I found a Buffalo. we spent all day there, I dug a boatload of trash! we were on our way back to the cars to leave and I hit another buffalo! this E-trac in TTF is a nickel magnet! so my keepers today were 4 wheats, two buffalo's and a sheild nickel! I also found a bunch of clad, which included nickels...too bad I found that "V" nickel yesterday, or I would have scored the whole nickel family in one day! instead I did it in two!

Cool Shield nickle..too bad they don't come out looking better huh?? Still an awesome find!! Congrats!!!

congrats on your shield, a lil sos pad will bring the details right out! I clean all my V nickels, shield, and buffalo nickels with it, makes em look great!
