Semperfi's post reminded me of an old house we detected out in the desert one time. It sure looked great but produced very little. We did get some neat old date nails from the corral tho. So things don't always pan out but one has to keep on checking them.
As for the hand pointer in the pic = I had to shoot a pic off Shutterfly in order to retrieve it from the past. And then I enlarged it with the mouse clicker but the hand doesn't go away. Shutterfly started a rule that you cannot put a pic on a forum. Fortunately, I had gone with Photobucket , but as I still have old pics on Shutterfly = does anyone know how to bring them over to Photobucket ? steve in so az

Lots of deserted places in the desert and also the woods and others you may have to get permission by searching for the names of who owns the lands. My son-in-law, Bill, took my ex and I to a place that was getting over grown with brush and I did find a mules shoe, I think, haven't looked at it for quite sometime. We found lots of rusty iron and junk items....but we were still new at :detecting: and had the older type detectors at the time! Good luck and God Bless everyone with safe traveling, hunting, and finding lots of nice goodies! :) God Bless! Betty

Don't remember what that feels like!
