I thought about selling the Impact and even did a little back and forth with a potential buyer on another forum. He pointed out the holiday package price from a few dealers. I spent hundreds more than that. What a good deal. So good I just can't sell mine. I would have to lower the price too much. It's just not worth it. I'll keep it and move on. It's a great detector. I just had an injury that notices the weight. I'm not pushing sales or promoting dealers. Just an observation that a great detector has a great market price.

Save your Nokta Impact.
Let a Detecting Buddy Harness deal with the weight issue. The Impact will feel like it weighs nothing. Doesn't impair using the Impact much when kneeling down and then placing the unit on the ground for plug digging while coin shooting.
Looks like it has been renamed Detecting Pal and no longer uses the bungee cord to connect between the detector and harness.
I have the Bungee version.
