Great Silver Week With The Pro

I'm camera challenged, so no pictures.

Went out to my hometown for the week to get away from it all and do a little MD'ing. My hometown is Blythe, Ca. Nothing of any size for other towns within a hundred miles.

I started out detecting median strips in a housing development that was built in the mid 50's. As luck would have it I dug a 54 roses right off of the bat. Oh boy! I thought, this is going to be a good day. Searched another hour and nothing much. Couple quarters, 4 or five dimes and a couple of wheats. There was an abandon house that had burned half way to the ground in this development, so I decided to detect the yard. Bingo another 64 Rosie, I put it in my pouch and started to detect again. Not 10 inches away I got another signal. A 1944 Merc. Talk about happy dance, I have never found three silvers in one day in my life. As the week went on I found 3 more Rosie's for a grand total of six silvers in 4 days. It makes me 19 silvers for the year. That is already a new record for me. Gotta love this hobby.

Happy hunting

Great hunting and good write up even with no pictures I could see that place...you know back in the 50.s those corner lots saw quite a bit of kid activity...mainly cutting across the grass, but also at night is where everyone would meet up and play outside games...you find where the Good Humor man used to pull up and there will be all sorts of money in that spot! Good Job!:clapping:
