Great weekend in Southampton with Barry:thumbup:

As Ct Todd stated in an earlier post it was a pretty good weekend. I seen allot of good items on the finds table at the end of the weekend. Tons of buttons including Todd's beauty. Lots of early coppers large cents and some silver. There is a ton of history waiting to be exposed in eastern Long Island and I wish I could be there for every event. Barry is a stand up guy and did a real professional job with these hunts. You can just tell the way he talks to you he has a real love for the hobby and the history of his homeland. Thanks for the opportunity Barry and hope to see you soon:thumbup: Here are some of my finds from this weekend!! Oh almost forgot, all finds were made using a Minelab Etrac (only the best) and 12X15 sef coil running the Gaz 2 tone ferrous setup. This setup is killer for these Fields by the way. Pictured are 4 large cents and a Connecticut copper, 6 flat buttons, a big do dad with a slot in the center, and my most interesting find is the big green disc in the upper right corner. It has a divet in it where the shank may have been if it were a button. Looks like it says United States of America on it. But it is bigger than a large cent and pretty darn thick. The only date I'm sure of on the coins is the 1817 large cent in the upper left corner.
