Greatest songs

steve in so la

Well-known member
Here's 2 of my all time favorite songs. If your computer loads slowly let it run, turn off the sound and go to another site. After a while it should be complete and then will run uninterrupted. At least this is what I did before I got high speed.
Lets hear your favorite ones also, steve in so az

Sorry Steve, but I cannot get the videos to work....they don't play well or say no longer available and that is what yours says when I try to get it!

There are so many songs that I like really well that I just don't know how to give you one or more and besides most of the time I can't remember the Titles! My memory isn't what it used to be and I never could remember songs anyway! I am not a singer but I make a joyful noise unto the Lord even singing the song wrong!

God Bless!

Jars of Clay - Liquid

The youtube site said that the embedded video was not enabled for that site. That probably means that you cant embed the video into pages like this. Here is a different "home-made" video to the song Liquid by Jars of Clay. They put scenes from The Passion of Christ to the music...

I Know All About Scars
Mark Bishop
Possum Run Music/Centergy Music

Verse 1

You've always been there for everyone else.
You've always been brave and strong.
But lately I've noticed that your smile has faded,
And I can tell something is wrong.

I've heard the prayers of those who love you.
I haven't forgotten your pain.
So if you've been searching for someone to talk to,
I promise that I can relate.

Chorus

Cause I've been broken, I've been betrayed.
I've been rejected, I've felt afraid.
I've cried out to God, "I don't know where you are."
I know the pain you're going through.
And I can more than promise you,
I'll do what it takes to mend your broken heart.
I've been right there where you are.
I know all about scars.

Verse 2

Life can be filled with love and laughter.
It's beauty surrounds us each day.
I used to stand and stare at the sunset.
And I used to watch children play.

But I've known the pain of losing a close friend,
I've heard angry words from my foes.
And still I remember that cross on a hillside.
So take it from someone who knows.

Repeat Chorus

Bridge

And everything you're feeling now, I've been feeling too.
And I'm the first one to know, now that I'm a part of you.

Repeat Chorus

There is more to it. I heard it sung by The Bishops.

As you listen to this think of Jesus speaking. I have listened to this many times and looked at it from a friend trying to help someone else and from the standpoint of Jesus speaking this. It is a reminder that Jesus understands and knows the pain we are going through.

Heard it before, but never seen the video. She has an amazing voice! :)

Hi Bro Steve,

I have one song that my brother and sister-in-law played and he sang in church when we were all going over to Caseyville, IL. I have no idea who wrote it or sung it but it is a beautiful song and I was always requesting Larry to sing it for me! Tears would roll down his cheeks when he sang and he always blessed us with their playing and singing, as she is a good singer also! Larry passed away last year in August and I still miss him so much and even talked to him last night and prayed to the Lord that I sure hope I see him again someday.

The song is: MIRACLES DO HAPPEN ! It starts out by telling a story as Lary speaks and then he sings! God's Spirit is all over me as I remember my brother singing it for me!

I don't know if I have a recording from recording songs on my tape player or not, as that has been quite some time ago when I was recording some of the church services! In a small country church you can do things that you cannot in larger churches!

God Bless and enjoy God's beautiful songs written and sung by His servants doing what they're supposed to do with their talents!

Me too, Mike, and it sure is an oldie! I also like, HOW GREAT THOU ART! They've both been sung in church services many, many times!

God Bless!
