Green Ladies and some silver!

What a week! Today, once again on the hunt in western Iowa. The 1901 barber (very good) found in an old park, strong 38 at 4 inches below dirtline. Then to a farmstead, where I found my green ladies. The 1903 Indian is in great condition, and the 1874 is good. Both read 34-35 at 4 inches. I love the nice, even, green patina. But oh, my brothers, my MD'n bro F75Tom, won the day with an excellent 1853 seated libert quarter! Like I said, what a great week!

ya very good condition , and a good day in my book

lud,

Great finds and the IHs are in fantastic shape. The ones we find around Gettysburg are so eaten up by fertilizer that you can barely tell which direction the bust is facing.

Dying to take my machine for a walk but everything is either in crops or waist deep in field grass. The tick population is out of sight and the snakes are out in force. We even had a black bear in town two weeks ago and as he left he walked right through the two fields that we have been playing in lately. Great... now we not only have to keep an eye to the ground looking for snakes but every few swings we have to look up to make sure that we are not stumbling into a bear looking for love.

Later,
TomH
