Green stuff on battery conectors

Nutriasub

Hi All!

I have a battery pack on my excals, its the new model excal II, and it works just fine, no problems.
however everytime I come out from a water hunt (wading) it has green stuff on the connectors, on the holes where the prongs go.

is it a serious problem?
Solution?

thanks a million

stripped Q-tip with an anti corrosive like CORROSION-X. Id suggest taking the male side apart as well...... just two screws and check the connectors if you have never done it. Also use corrosion-x on it. Preventive maintenance.

I keep a light coat of conductive grease on all contacts that may be exposed to water. You can get a small tube at any auto parts store.
