Greetings everyone! Was a little warmer today than it has been! The Dogwood and Lilac blooms and etc are frozen and ....

drooped for Easter Sunday and now they are brown and dropping off! They would have been so pretty, too! But, alas, the cold temps hurt them and about 70% or more of the Apple and Peach crops have been lost. So there'll be less fruit supply this year!!! :( Friday night was 24 degrees with windchill factor of 6 degrees and also Sat night had a freeze warning, too! If no one took in their plants and flowers are covered them up then they will have to replant, as it sure turned cold Easter weekend!

My brother and I mowed the yard and he trimmed today! Sure keeps us busy doing the yard and trying to paint and fix up the inside! He works circles around me, as he is a lot stronger and faster than me! I am so thankful that he is here and I praise God for his finally getting up here from Florida to help me and we are company for each other!

Thank You, Jesus, for Your blessings on me!!

God Bless!

Kinda the same story here, but it is not warmer yet! One of my customers said her magnolia bloomed beautiful for 1 1/2 days then brown and drooping! We had softball practice tonight with a bunch of white stuff flying all over! :( So we just stayed in the dugout and talked about the season, rules, positions, etc.... Oh well, soon enough we will be complaining about the heat!
I live in Michigan, where you can wear shorts in the morning and go sledding that night!

apples, carrots, green peppers, celery, lemons and ginsing root! Can't afford to drink it everyday as everything is so expensive and we don't go to the store that often to keep the fresh fruit and vegs available for usage!

Hope you have fun detecting and travel safely! :)

God Bless!
Betty
