Ground balance question

When I go to a new area and ground balance, I always go to Pro/zero mode first and try and find'
clean ground to ground balance over, however there are some places/iron infested where that
is impossible. If you gb over an area with targets are gb numbers still valid? What do you do?
 
When I can't find an area where it seems to gb correct I will do a manual gb and set it to where I think is close to normal for my area which I've hunted so much I pretty much know what it should be.
If I'm in a new area I will try my best to find a clean spot even if I have to walk out a ways at least it will get it close and no I wouldn't want to gb over a target it might be something you'd want then it want pick it up.
That's just the way I do it maybe someone will come in with something better and we'll both learn something.
