Grrrrrrrr!!! :starwars:

Pete in MI

New member
Finally had a day off yesterday. Worked for 14 or 15 days straight so half of those hours fell on the last pay cycle. Got my paycheck today...only 38+ hours.

I make a copy of the hours worked sheet from work everytime we start a new sheet. Brought it home and Sherry said I had somewhere around 60 hours for the 2 week period.

I cleaned house the other day...and guess I threw away the sheet.

I did call the boss and he said he would look into it but he would not be in to work til 1 pm. Coincidently that is when I have to be into work. So any bill paying will have to be pushed off til tomorrow or Monday once we get this straightened out.

We were looking forward to this big check to catch up on bills and to attend a Christmas party down in Lansing plus get some ink for the computer printer. If Sherry and I are wrong that sure will put a crimp in a lot of things and we have no proof otherwise to show the hours I did work.

I told the boss I would not cash this check until things are straightened out. He said he could issue me another check. Just wish I weren't wasting time instead of getting bills paid...and Sherry was eyeing up a nice warm winter coat at TSC (Tractor Supply Company) that I was hoping to surprise her with. Oh well have to wait and see.

God won't let His kid be shortchanged but if I am He won't forget it.

if the son in-law doesn't want that roof raking job, you could do it on the side. I never even had to use a ladder! Not too hard of work for good pay!

Praying the hours worked and the amount of paycheck all gets worked out for your good, Bro Pete, and for God's purpose! He always says, Vengence is Mine, saith the Lord, I will repay, and He does but in His own time and in His own way! To God be the Glory in all things! God Bless! Betty

I worked 11 hours yesterday....part of it was putting buckets in rooms where the ice dams I spoke of were leaking water into 2nd floor rooms and dripping down into 1rst floor rooms.
LONG LONG STORY argh.

I worked 14 or was it 15 days without a day off...I have had a co-worker waiting for me to get to her house to work on the heater in her house...been trying to get with the VA to see if I can get some medical attention and have yet to have time to do that...I clean the church and guess who hasn't had time to get there...and who hasn't made it to the Wed praise team practice...and yes, son-in-law never called back or bothered to come get the rake.

Could I use that extra money - yes but don't have the time to do it. I did get our roof raked yesterday before heading into work. If I find the time to talk to the neighbors I will loan them the rake to do their places seeing as son-in-law isn't interested in making money..guess he is one of those who expect the woman to support him...maybe why he is in his 2nd marriage eh.

I still need to get meds I ran out of over a week ago (blood thinners) or get the new meds prescribed.

Have faith that everything will work out, for God is there and just give Him praise before and after He helps you, as He will not fail!
God Bless! Betty
