GT finds nice button

Sandmagnet

Hi everyone,
It was hot and wet, but I hit a spot to test the GT and my hand ID made meter. I think both worked well! Hope my pictures come out ok and would like some input on identifying some objects. HH! Sandmagnet

That is one awsome button! I guess by now you've identified it. if not, I believe that it is Army, General Service from around 1820 (Albert's GI 70A) You've got so mmuch neat stuff in the big picture. It's too small for me to see, but is that a powder flask in the foreground bottom? Is the object in the bottom picture pewter? If so, could it be part of a large serving spoon with a rivetted handle (missing)? Please make some more scans! This stuff is very neat.
