GT Pro, can you get the control box wet while hunting

in the water? I assume you can wade up to your shoulders as long as you don't get the land use headphones wet, am I correct on this or not?

I'll assume you mean AT Pro as I'm not sure what a GT Pro is. Yes, the entire detector is able to be submerged, but not the land headphones. Make sure that both the coil, and headphone, connectors are fully seated though. It is submergible to 10 feet.

Good hunting...

Thanks for the reply John and Highplains, I just ordered a new Garrett AT Pro with the waterproof headphones, do you still need to use the silicone grease on the water headphones as well John?

Thanks,
mike

Although I haven't used my AT Gold in the water, I would think you would want to use a little of that grease on both the coil, and headphone, "O" rings...
