GTI 1500 question

I was wondering which mode everyone prefers, coins, relics, jewelry, etc. I've been using coin mode and have hit a lot of coins, but am not hitting any sort of typical brass junk and was wondering if coin mode could be discriminating it out. I'm not necessarily looking for brass, but I have found some interesting things made of it so I would like to dig it. Thanks for the look.

Jeff, I myself usually use the relic mode, to let more items in, especially since I hunt for Civil War relics as well.
I find that most brass will come in just under the penny, that is an accepted slot on the coin mode.
However, some smaller brass, especially if deep could register into the rejected items on the coin mode.
Try out the relic mode and see what you pick up, it could be also that you may have not walked over an brass items yet.

Yeah he should pick up brass in coin mode. He probably just hasn't come across any.
