Except for a couple of minor changes it is exactly the same as the 2500 both of which I field tested when they came out.

Same as GTI 2500 without the backlight.
Going price?
No clue. You need to take into consideration that it's gonna be at least twelve years old. I think that Garrett made them for two years. '97 and '98 I think. I almost got one when they came out, but I had just recently purchased my CXIII/PowerMaster. I got my GTI 2500 when they came out in '99. Had it upgraded, revamped, overhauled w/mineral chip a couple years ago. I believe that you can do the same w/GTI 2000.

Yeah I field tested it in 97 then a few months later the 2500 came out and I tested that one.
