Just received a used GTI 5 x 10 DD Scorcher coil that appears in good shape. Anyone have any experience with this coil? The 9.5" is able to find my test quarter at 6 inches with no problems but the 5 x 10 will not find this coin. I expected different results until I tried it. Any thoughts?

GTI 2500 5 x 10 Scorcher Coil Depth Capability?

I have this coil as it came with the 2500 that I purchased. I haven't had a chance to give it a try, but the person that I bought it from was using it in highly mineralized ground. He said the 9.5 imaging coil was useless in the iron rich soil but the DD 5x10 changed all that.
