Headed out early this morning to hunt some parks and sports fields. I used my GTI 2500 for most of the hunts, but got about 50 coins with the Scorpion, which ended up being mostly the non-penny variety.

The GTI 2500 got all of these. It always did have a nose for getting silver.

And below is a pic of the Superman belt buckle. It was down about 6 inches, read as a coin but as a "C" or "D" size image.

Nice finds, looks like you will make the 100K before years end.

Looks like a brilliant day out John that belt buckle is a super retro find & it may even be Worth a few $$$ i love finding cool old stuff like that. 100,000 that's a Lotta coins have you been cashing them in or have you saved them love to see a photo of that many found coins.

Are you detecting in your test garden again? Great dimes! Even cooler belt buckle.

Please post your breakdown when you hit 100k. I expect that will be later today!

I bet you wish you kept track now. I know you have often said you never sell your gold but what have you done with all the silver coins from all your years in the field? Must have been a lot when you first started.

All my silver is in a lock box. Course when I started detecting silver was still in circulation so I didn't save it all. When I lived in Vegas my pockets were always bulging with silver dollars as that was the coin of the realm in Vegas back then. Wish to hell I would have saved some but who knew.
