GTI1500 HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Need some inof pls .. Its finally getting nice enough and the ground
is thawing so i got the gti out of storage ..

new batteries in fact they just came into the store
last Monday .. i work there so I know ..
anyway i tunred it on .adjusteed threshold and then

without a coil being atttached i get a constant ping at
the nickle range icon ..cant get it ti go away i hit reset that
didnt help any advise is MUCH appreciated i dont wanna start
the season off sending it back to Garrett if i can help it . again
any info is appreciated greatly

its sorta stable i just took it outside in the yard
