GTP 1350 + Old Sports Field = ?

I traveled about 15 miles to a little town and an even littler sports field. I hunted for about an our and I only got 2 quarters, 2 pennies and 1 dime, all clad! This sports field is really old, with old bleachers and a concession stand. I think I will go back with my 9X12 coil and hunt for some deep silver. I had fun anyway. The picture is hardily worth posting but have a look anyway.

It's surely been hit before by someone else, otherwise you would have found much more. Try that larger coil, you may get some more buried deeper. I have found that sports fields all seem to have their own special personality.

Did the concession stand have a platform in front of it and did you hunt under it?

No platform UW, I thought of you when I saw it none the less! The consession stand was all locked up and there were empty beer bottles lined up in the dugout. (I hope thats an adult league!). I tected as close to the serving window as my coil would let me. Clearly this place has been hit before. I'll go back with my 9X12 and try again.
