Finally....a real dirt dig! I waited nearly 5 months to get some dirt under my finger nails and on my jeans. Scott came over to pick me up and we hunted in the woods for a while. But the ground was so hard, I swear I saw sparks coming from Scott's Lesche digger. We then headed off to some green areas that allowed us to dig in most of the areas where the snow had melted. The GTP 1350 worked just great! The profiling was quite accurate, and I left a lot of junk in the ground. The copper and silver coins gave a nice high-tone- bell- tone, and they were dug. Below is a pic of the better finds.

A pulled out a couple of silver dimes (1940 & 1943), A token with a portrait of "IRENE DUNNE" on one side, and the movie she starred in, "THE SILVER CORD" a 1933 B&W movie. I also got a religious medallion, one of my favorite finds, a 1943 "V" Tombac Nickel and an Alberta Provincial Pin. A great way to start dirt digging for 2007.
