Guess this is a 'stupid' question...

Pete in MI

just wondering in the heat of this summer how many people have had a chance to see the dvd movie 'Frozen Stupid' that I had sent out for people to get a chance to see?

Always nice to see a movie about ice fishing here on this biggest inland lake of Michigan when the temperature is HOT. Had hoped all the people would get a chance to see it. As far as I know only 2 maybe 3 people have seen it since it was sent out.

Was just wondering.

Just sent out one and when whoever had it saw it was supposed to pass it on to anyone else who wanted to see it. Guess someone either has yet to see it or forgot to pass it on to someone else.

It is a funny but dumb movie about our lake during Tip Up Town (our local ice fishing contest to bring tourists up in the winter).

You can almost predict what will happen next to our unlucky main character - oh yeah Ernest Borgnine of McHale's Navy fame is in this movie as a key character too. "Very nice and friendly guy" - everyone who met him said this of him. The even showed the first viewing of the movie at our theater - The Pines - and they had all the characters, including Mr. Borgnine there doing autographs and having fun with the locals. (I wasn't quite a local yet hahaha so missed it).

Good movie...no profanity or un-family type activities. Casey loves it and it is appropriate for her to watch. Dumb but appropriate.

At $20 a pop I can't afford to send one to everyone who wants to see it so figured I'd pass it from person to person so they could enjoy Ernest Borgnine and laugh at the UpNorth humor of ice fishing.

No clue who has the movie or how many have seen it. Bet you would find it funny too Joe.

but it was not too hot when I seen it! :) I know Shawano was supposed to pass it to Greg, but don't know if it did? I will check with him again.

So did the kids. The humor was a little Korny like Al's!

still nice to see something cold on a hot day...maybe with a nice cold drink and some popcorn to go with it.
