Still to early to say this coil is better than the stock coil, but so far so good <img src="/metal/html/biggrin.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":D"> . Got my best merc today. Too bad it was an "S" and not a "D". It had to be at least 8" deep. I had to do a double take on the date when I first looked at it.

Same thing happened to me last year. Jaw dropped to the ground when I saw mine, just like when I saw the one you posted before I realized it was not a D.
On the one I had found, half of the mint mark rubbed off, too hard to determine if it was an S or a D. Posted it here at that time and people were undecided. Told me to have a dealer check it. Never did get it checked but I might some day.

My eyes aren't what they use to be. Kept trying to make out the mint mark. Couldn't tell what the heck it was. I got a little excited and ran to my truck to call my detecting buddy. Jumped in my truck and headed home. I'm surprised that I didn't leave my detector laying on the grass <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol"> .
