The festival grounds are located about 1/2 mile south of I-4 and all of the rain banded just north of the interstate (maybe even as close as a mile) and then swept south through PolK Co. Several Tornadoes in the area but nothing close to us. Some areas got as much as 3-4 inches of rain during the day. I watched the weather all afternoon long and we had one strong cell move through about an hour before the show. We wore rain coats but didn't really need them. TODAY, however, I was waken up to thunder at 5am and it has rained all day long. 2 and 1/2 inches of rain so far and it looks like it may be finally letting up. The weekend should be great as I'll be watching Lynyrd Skynyrd Sunday evening.
