Gum token

This is a toke I found on 3/12/15. On the back it has Vevay Ind. my home town. Any ideas of age?

if you can make out the business name above the town name you could find it in the old city directories.

That is a great find. Any kind of "good for" token beats wheats and common stuff. So cool to research those.

Probably post-1893. Aluminum tokens became popular at that time when aluminum became a viable product, and Wrigley's gum was also just hitting the market for the first time.

It is heavier than Aluminum. It seems like it was plated with maybe nickel. It has black spots where the coating is missing. It rang up in the 60s on the F75
