Had a good hunt today!..........

Shawano came over and we went to a bean field that had two 1800's home sites. The houses have been gone for a long time. Right away I got an old suspender buckle, and not long after that Shawano hollered over that he thought he had a shield nickel. Here he is holding it and a shot of the nickel.

Then I scored an 1890 indian head, then an 1896 indian head, then a 1906 indian head, then a nice 1863 Civil War store card token from Elkhart IN. :)
I ended the day with a very heavy pouch! many keepers today! Great weather about 60 degrees! :) More pics below! :)

...you guys had a field day!!! LOL

The token is really cool and the buckles are beautiful. The 1869 doo-hickeys could be wheel balancing weights...just slightly ahead of their time!!

Nothin like a big, wide open field to hunt in!! Great finds guys!
