on what type of detecting NOT to do. I met a friend at a soccer park and he showed me what he does there. Well after 1 hour he had about 18 coins and I had 1 penny. He used a bigfoot Whites. Guess I'm not cut out for that kind of detecting. Steve in so az

what I concluded also. Going to some places tomorrow that are rare windows of opportunity. Probably no silver coins but great chance for more gold jewelry, steve
 
but can be rewarding. I found my only silver quarter this year at the edge of a ballfield. 63 Wash. Your coin counts put most of us in the "Oh I wish I could do that" list. Keep doin what works for you!
