Had to wait til the snow melted a little. Found my first shield nickle 1866. You can see the bust of the lady in the copper. The IH"s are 1906 and 1864. I really like the token ( Good for one cake of soap) I wonder if it's still good?
I hope this Friday is as fun. At least there is no snow...............
 
I think Palmolive is still in business. With decades of being in business I would suspect they have cherished memorabilia of the history of the company. I have a few nice tokens of old companies still in business. Has anyone ever checked out for example, if Palmolive would trade some "cases" of soap for the ancient token if one was so inclined to trade? Just curious?
