Had a great time digging the Iron this morning

seems the number two has been with me the past two days i caught 2 gophers yesterday and today , and this morning i found 2 non Iron targets digging trash around the old tabor foundation , the Outlaw with the 8" concentric is a great pinpointed on Iron trash , even better than the DD its seems i get fooled mor often pipointing iron with the DD than the concentric, and in the threshold all metal i can actally tell a non Iron target most of the time as today i picked out the 22 shell as non Iron and the leather rivet out of a total of 38 targets dug 36 where Iron and 2 non Iron so 95% Iron to 5% no ferrous i did not use the Discriminate moda at all because it is so infested with bits and nails that i am just looking to unmask the non Iron now and practice digging in threshold AM I love the threshold AM on this outlaw , it speeks volumes to me of depth and weather its Iron or not , I had what i thought was a brass key and it dubble beeped and i said thats not brass and low it stuck to the magnet also it is occuring to me that when a nail sticks up it makes a harsh sound as a coin will not I know I did not find any good targets but it goes to show that the coin could still be hidding in this Iron mess, and i just may find it , had a great time , its a challenge to practice pinpointing and gussing targets in the AM and the 8" coil is a winner I wish i would have listened to tab man when he told me to give the coil a try before i sold it . but I get what he was saying now

Nice finds! I have an ongoing gopher or mole problem. Last year I was so mad I grabbed the pitchfork and went gopher spearing, which was fruitless, just tired me out and nearly speared my foot lol. Yesterday went fishing, and not a single bite, stopped by the beach on the way back home and only found one pull tab, bottle cap and a stainless steel rod hook, no idea what it came from. The city has this squirrel cage sifting contraption they pull behind a tractor, I am sure that guy gets some nice bling.

Gunnar that site sure looks like it's loaded with iron. There just has to something good hiding there.

What I find impressive about the Outlaw is its ability to go deep to find really tiny targets.

I found the Wheat Penny around 8 inches deep, it gave a real soft but clear beep.

What looks like small 22 blanks were both around 5 inches deep sounded off loud and clear. I thought that I had me something really good each time.
