Had a Great time. The 250 is easy to used thanks to all of your posting. I do Have a question I had some great hits on the penny and dime but after digging the signal disappeared. Why ? 2--- quarters 4---- Penny's 1------- dime 1----hot wheels corvette some junk and lead . Later Graw :yo:

you are as one with the 250 ! If a signal disappears I find that it has usually fallen deeper into the hole and the detector doesnt hear it. I grab a handful of dirt in the very bottom & pass it across the coil and most times it's there. Could also be in the dirt dug out and could also be a rusted item that fell apart - halo effect. steve in so az

it isn't something that happens to just to ACE250 but other detectors have the same situation happen. A good pinpointer helps to find those elusive disappearing signals.

Nice haul. Keep up the good work.

glad someone can get out! Do you have a pinpointer?
Congrats on the finds!

The all time best is the Sunray in-line probe, but they are $200.
I like the Merlin if you can find one, and the Vibra probe is good too!
