back to a local park where I've probably been over 60-70 times over all these yrs.. It gets use from just about every sport so you just don't know what and when you'll find something good.. Well no gold, but crossed an area and got a coin hit saying at least 6 inches...bam, 7 inches down a 61 memorial.. a few feet to the left and same signal. , same story but a 63.

Solid signals, never would miss them.. Gotta believe they were probably lost many yrs back just by the shear depth.

F-44 + sharpshooter coil = great hunt.

These signals were NOT faint tho.. Nice and loud.... I'm wondering if this machine may go 9- 10- 11 inches on a target??

Never used a F44, I've got a f5 and it will go about 7" on a coin and that's it. My bother WV62 has a f 75 and it goes about the same depth. My machine has a confidence meter on it and when the target is deep it will only move up to1/3 to 1/2 and the sound will also be faint, if the Target is swallow it moves up to 3/4 or higher but the ID # are the same for both deep and swallow targets. Love to be able to get down to that 9" range but so far I've not been able to get there.

Not sure if you would get those depths on a coin and if so, audio signal and visual readout would be iffy. I found a lot of deep musket balls with the F44 but coins are not as substantial.

Ya you are probably right, Were talking minelab depth now !! But ground conditions are great now, moist, soft easy digging....

But no B.S. these early memorials were a solid 7 inches and strong signal....Can't say any more on the subject..

More hunting later on.. Mark ( ohio )

That 11" tear drop coil goes pretty deep.

The modulated modes, like coin and custom aren't as solid but I found that the right headphones make a big difference. I bought a set of Whites ProStars based upon some feedback from another member for my Omega's modulated audio modes and they also work really good with the F44's modulated audio.
