Had a question, Not getting much help on the Safari forum...

Will the original upper and lower rods for the Explorer XS (Beige color) work on the Safari? I was looking at purchasing some for use with a small coil. Thanks!

I think I heard that they will fit but its just a little off. To big or to small I am not sure, I think they are a little looser.

Lower rods will work, but upper rods are differnt as the Safari has the angled end and it fits in the control head one way while the older XS shaft had the square end so they will not fit correctly in the contol head and come lose or wear it out a bit as it dont fit as designed.

Do you think it would be possible just to cut Explorer middle rod to the correct angle? Thanks!
